Sadly someone (I won´t give you the person's name) said to me, I could be much more popular if I would hang around with the popular deviants. I´m no bad artist blablabla and I would deserve more than you.

Being popular when you leave your people...

I don't know if this is right. It´s definetely not right. This sounds like I have to sell my soul to get popular. You know what? Spit on it. I´ll stay by my people, and I trust my luck, my good or bad charisma and contacts to make something out of my art. But can you hug your art or talk to it? No. I mostly love my people, no false homies who put you under pressure to continue being awesome. Failing is much funnier, when you have a ground. You won´t fall so deep.
And just to say. I don´t have to creep into people´s butts just for being a parrt of them. I try to act natural with them, but I also don´t need them. That´s the way of being awesome...being yourself.
